Originally formed in 2016 by JP Dehavilland (guitars), Elysium Sky now has a full line up of eclectic songwriters, fronted by Matt Cottrell (vocals), Paul Hinton (bass), Alex Sandor Kis (drums).

From varied backgrounds each have brought their personal influences from Tool to Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd to Metallica, Iron Maiden, to Katatonia, and have fused them to craft the sound that Elysium Sky are fast becoming known for: gritty and raw with progressive elements, intricately mixed to bring life and excitement to any show that will leave the crowd wanting more.

With exciting heavy guitars, bone thumping bass, intellectual drumming, intriguing and sexy melody lines, Elysium Sky's songs are about life experiences, love and loss, fantasies, reflections on life from looking into a mirror, things we can all relate to in everyday life.

Their debut album ‘Echoes From Nowhere’, released in 2018 allowed them to experiment and perfect their sound and now work is well underway on their second ‘concept’ album ‘Sola’ which will be accompanied by a feature length ‘novella’, both of which are due for release in 2020.
